Cameo Collective

A New Vision for The Cameo Under Non-Profit Ownership

Here’s what you can expect:

Expanded Programming: The CAMEO will not only continue to show independent and studio films but will also host an array of live performances, including comedy shows, theater productions, and live music. We will also offer visual art exhibitions, cultural events, and workshops.

Community Ownership and Input: The CAMEO will be run by a passionate team of staff, volunteers in the Arts, including Artistic Director Brian Adam Kline and its Board of Directors of community leaders. By becoming a non-profit, we’ll also be able to involve the community more directly in decision-making through volunteer opportunities and feedback on our programming.

Increased Accessibility: With our non-profit status, we can apply for grants, offer more affordable ticket pricing, and provide educational programs to underserved communities. Our mission is to make the arts accessible to everyone, regardless of background or economic means.

Why the Non-Profit Model Matters

Transitioning The CAMEO to non-profit ownership means we can focus entirely on our mission of bringing arts and culture to Fayetteville without the pressure of profit-driven decision-making. CAMEO Collective will reinvest all earnings back into the theater, its programming, and the local community, ensuring that every dollar raised helps enrich Fayetteville’s arts landscape.

This non-profit structure will also allow us to:

*Apply for Government and Arts Grants to expand our programming and reach.

*Offer Tax-Deductible Donations for supporters, enabling more generous giving from patrons and sponsors.

*Cultivate a Spirit of Volunteerism through community involvement, giving residents an active role in shaping the theater’s future.

How to Donate:
