The Arts Council of Moore County (ACMC) is the center of a thriving creative district, with arts and cultural industries generating millions in economic activity annually to Moore County. We serve this economy in various ways, including showcasing thousands of artists, and supporting other arts organizations with grants, ticket sales, promotions and more.
ACMC is also the NC Arts Council’s Designated County Partner, receiving and distributing funds that support many local arts projects throughout Moore County. Thousands of children have been profoundly impacted as a result of our Youth Programs. We serve over 13,000 children each year in every school – public, private, charter, and home schools. We have also awarded over $51,000 in arts scholarships to talented kids. The Campbell House, home to ACMC's offices and galleries, is one of the region’s most significant landmarks, owing its existence to the Boyd and Campbell families.
ACMC's programs rely completely on grants and community support. For more than 47 years, the Arts Council of Moore County has been a beacon of culture, informing, influencing, and enhancing civic life. A gift to the Arts Council is the ultimate expression of faith in our goal of sustaining our community as a place resilient with the arts at its core.
