Sweet Charity is the multi-Tony-award winning tale of Charity Hope Valentine, a hopelessly romantic but comically unfortunate dance hall hostess in 1960s New York City.
With a tuneful, groovy score by Cy Coleman, sparkling lyrics by Dorothy Fields, and a hilarious book by Neil Simon, Sweet Charity captures all the energy, humor, and heartbreak of Life in the Big City for an unfortunate but irrepressible optimist.
Musical numbers include: “Big Spender,” “If My Friends Could See Me Now,” “I’m a Brass Band” and “Baby, Dream Your Dream.”
This show is most appropriate for ages 13 and up due to mature content.
Thanks to the generous underwriting of Emily M. Neller, MA - Health and Wellness Coach, a limited number of Tier B & Tier C Student tickets for this show have been reduced to $15 from $27 and $20, respectively. At seat selection, if pricing for Student tickets is indicated as $15, tickets are still available at that price.
