Author Sterling Watson will be at The Country Bookshop on February 14th to talk about his new book Night Letter with fellow author Page Fehling and her husband and coauthor Jake Fehling.
The event will be held at 5pm.
Driven by his need to rejoin the human community, he becomes the stranger who arrives in Panama City, Florida, searching for Delia, the aunt who was the idol of his twelve-year-old passion. Who is she now? What have the years done to her? Will she welcome the return of Travis or fear it? What will she do about the return of the stranger she once held to her teenage heart.
Jean Paul Sartre said, "Hell is other people." In the course of this story, Travis learns that other people can also be salvation. Amid a cast of characters struggling with their own needs, desires, tragedies, and, yes, crimes, Travis finds violence, hatred, vengeance, and, in greater measure, friendship, honor, loyalty, and at least a glimpse of the road to redemption.
Jake and Page are the coauthors of Holy Crap, We’re Pregnant, a she-said, he-said book on pregnancy. It took them ten years to finish it. Seven years after Page was pregnant with their youngest. To say they may have a procrastination problem is an understatement. All it took was one global pandemic in 2020 to cross the finish line. Some people baked banana bread. Some people finished a book. Go figure. Jake and Page also cohost the award-winning Date Night with Jake and Page podcast and coteach personal and professional development training classes. They have three kids, three dogs, and still most of their sanity
