About This Event
The Village Arboretum, established in 2003 and developed by th Village Heritage Foundation, is located adjacent to the Pinehurst Village Hall and is part of Rassie Wicker Park.
The 35-acre tract is planted with hundreds of native trees, shrubs and perennials, providing year-round interest. The trail system is perfect for walkers and nature lovers and many of the trails are wheelchair accessible. Benches are situated for comfort and relaxation. Dog son leash are welcome.
Although The Village Arboretum is located on public land, it has been developed with private funds. The Village Arboretum continues to grow thanks to the generous support of area residents, business, organizations, visitors, and volunteers.

The Village Heritage Foundation is a private nonprofit 501(c)3 foundation headquartered in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Our mission is to promote the preservation, restoration, enhancement and maintenance of the special character of the historic Village of Pinehurst.
