Sharon Granito, local of Southern Pines, will join us at The Country Bookshop with her new children's book, The True Story of Elmo.

Registration is Free and a percentage of the book sales will go to support Caring Hearts for Canines.

Sharon Granito grew up in Nutley, New Jersey and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where she graduated with a BA Degree in Elementary Education. There after she enjoyed a twenty-one year career teaching primary school. Sharon lives, with her husband, James, on a farm in North Carolina where a stray dog prompted thee creation of the children's book The True Story of Elmo. The illustrations are hand painted with oils on canvas.
