Grammy® Award-Winning baritone Lucas Meachem is one of the most accomplished, in-demand singers of the moment, captivating audiences around the world with his “earnest appealing baritone” (The New York Times) and “commanding presence” (San Francisco Chronicle). “A rock star of opera” (Opera Pulse), Meachem’s post-COVID season begins with returns to San Francisco Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, The Dallas Opera, Festival Napa Valley, and Santa Fe Opera as the title role in Eugene Onegin.
Lucas, accompanied by his lovely wife Irina, will begin the evening by showcasing their favorite songs from their new album "Shall We Gather." The second half of the show will feature some high flying Opera arias from his most popular Opera and musical endeavors.
The VIP Album Release Party (LIMITED TO ONLY 80 PEOPLE) will be held directly following the event. VIP ticketholders will join Lucas and Irina, their friends and family, and other local dignitaries after the show on the Stage of Owens Auditorium for food and drinks to help celebrate the release of this first solo album, Shall We Gather. The stage of in Owens Auditorium is enormous, and rarely is it all used or seen at one time during a performance. After the show, VIP Ticketholders will have a brief intermission before they are led backstage for a true, 'behind the curtain', one-of-a-kind experience. The stage will transform into a beautiful and unique "cocktail party" venue with free beverages and heavy hors d'oeuvres. The untouched 60 year old exposed brick backwall, the curtain pulley system, and the original steel catwalk spiral staircase, an up-close look at our new Steingraeber & Sohne Concert Grand Piano, and a reversed view out into the theater will all work in perfect harmony to cap off this landmark event. VIP TICKHOLDERS WILL ALSO RECEIVE A COMPLIMENTARY CD OF THE NEW ALBUM, SIGNED BY LUCAS MEACHEM.
THE ARTIST, HIS FRIENDS, AND FAMILY HAVE ASKED THAT ALL VIP RELEASE PARTY ATTTENDEES ALL BE FULLY VACCINATED FOR THE COVID19 VIRUS. IF YOU ARE UNVACCINATED WE RECOMMEND YOU GET A 'PREMIUM TICKET' TO ENJOY THE SHOW IN THE BEST SEATS POSSIBLE.

Bradshaw Performing Arts Center (BPAC) is the Sandhills region's newest, most modern, best-equipped entertainment and event complex. Comprised of five venues (three indoor, two outdoor),80,000+ visitors from the Sandhills and beyond flock to BPAC for nearly 200 music, theatre, dance, and comedy performances; lectures; and gallery exhibits each year. For events in our Mainstage Tribute, and Comedy Series, we offer (at least) four price levels at Reserved Seating events in Owens Auditorium: Premium, Preferred, Standard, and Saver.
