Katrina Denza with Louise Marburg

Katrina Denza's short stories have most recently appeared in Nelle, Jabberwock Review, and Slippery Elm, among others. Her debut collection, Burner and Other Stories was published by Cornerstone Press UWSP as part of their Legacy Series in November 2025. Her work has received a scholarship from Breadloaf Writers' Conference and a fellowship from Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. She served six years as chair of the Writers-in-Residence program at the Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

Louise Marburg is the author of three short story collections, including the award-winning You Have Reached Your Destination, Her work has been published in Story, The Hudson Review, Ploughshares, The Missouri Review, and more. She has been a scholar at the Sewanee Writers Conference and a fellow at the Kenyon Writing Workshops. A native of Baltimore, Louis lives in New York City with her husband. Fancy Meeting You is her debut novel.
