The beloved show follows the highs and lows of first dates, first loves, marriages, babies, in-laws, and growing old together, paying tribute to those who have loved and lost, and to those who have dared to ask someone out on a date.
The show was first performed off-Broadway in 1996. Over the years, DiPietro and Roberts have updated lyrics in the show's numbers to make the production more relevant to today's pop culture and technology-driven environment.

THEATER DOORS open for seating approximately 25 minutes before showtime.
All Judson Theatre Company shows are recommended for ages 13 and up and may contain adult language and themes. It is not appropriate to bring infants or children under 6 to Judson Theatre Company shows. Everyone attending the performance, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
In the McPherson Theatre black box, the theatre doors open for seating 25 minutes before the performance. The theatre is quite intimate and there is no need to arrive extraordinarily early. Know that if you choose to arrive early, there is no place to sit and wait for the theatre to open other than the outdoor benches in Evelyn's Courtyard, as the lobby for the McPherson Theater is also the hallway of Wellard Hall.
