Come meet Erick Erickson the host of "The Erick Erickson Show" which airs Monday through Friday from Noon until 3pm on 97.3FM/104.1FM/990AM WEEB Talk Radio. Listen as he will be discussing topics not heard on air and he'll be taking questions from the audience as well!!
Erick, a Louisiana native raised in Dubai, began his career as a practicing attorney in Macon, Georgia, specializing in corporate law, estates, and elections. He volunteered for President Bush’s campaigns and consulted on federal, state, and local races.
In 2005, Erick made a bold career shift, leaving his law practice to become a full-time blogger and Editor-in-Chief of RedState.com. Two years later, he was elected to Macon’s city council.
In 2009, CNN hired him as a political contributor. The following year, after a local radio host in Macon was arrested, Erick unexpectedly filled in on-air for three months, eventually taking over for Herman Cain on WSB Radio in Atlanta in 2011.
Over the years, Erick has guest-hosted for Neal Boortz, Herman Cain, Ben Shapiro, and Rush Limbaugh. He also pursued an M.Div at Reformed Theological Seminary, broadening his insights on politics, family life, and even cooking.
