The Concerts on the Green Concert Series wraps up it's 2021 summer with singer/songwriter Abigail Dowd as part of her "Beautiful Day" album tour. "Beautiful Day" was released on April 23, 2021 and is Abigail's 3rd album.

Singer/songwriter/guitarist Abigail Dowd, who grew up here in Moore County, returns home on tour with a full band to share her third album, "Beautiful Day." Pulling from her heritage of storytelling and determination, Dowd weaves hints of Celtic melodies with the soulful gospel of the south to create a sound that dances between folk, rock and blues. Known for her storytelling and command of an audience, American Songwriter has called her latest album “a friendly reminder that life’s blessings are happening in the here and now.”

The event will be held outside at BPAC's McNeill-Woodward Green, the beautiful green-space venue located in the heart of Sandhills Community College's Campus and kicks off with local Moore County opening band, The Shoppe Girls.

THIS IS A "RAIN OR SHINE" EVENT - HOWEVER, IF GIVEN ENOUGH NOTICE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER THE SHOW WILL BE MOVED INDOORS TO OWENS AUDITORIUM. IN THE EVENT OF LIGHTNING OR A HEAVY DOWNPOUR DURING THE SHOW, PATRONS WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE COVER IN BLUE HALL UNTIL THE STORM PASSES AND IT IS SAFE TO CONTINUE.
