Symphony Winds will play works composed for the wind quintet, including Paul Taffanel and Julio Medaglia.
Since 1990, this virtuoso woodwind quintet has enthralled audiences with their display of accomplished technique and musicianship. This has provided an entertaining journey of discovery to enhance listening skills and increased appreciation of classical music. The musicians' demonstrations of instruments keep audiences informed as well as entertained.

The Chamber Music Concerts were established by Lena Stewart Brillhart in the early 1980's and have been an integral part of Weymouth's programming ever since. Influenced by James and Katharinge Boyd, the concerts are one of Weymouth's finest traditions, inspired by Mrs. Boyds' love of classical music.
Encouraging and promoting the arts statewide is central to Weymouth's mission. Continuing the objective of the early founders, concerts include artists from North Carolina's colleges and universities. Also, Weymouth sponsors the Young Musicians Festival, which provides opportunities for youth in the region to perform before credentialed adjudicators from North Carolina schools of music.
