As part of the Weymouth Center's celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the Boyd House, this bike tour will take participants to the exterior of seven historic homes associated with the Boyd family, where we will learn about the architecture and the individuals behind these special historic buildings.
The tickets also include a pint of beer courtesy of our friends over at Hatchet Brewing Company after the tour PLUS one of our new "Keep Moore County Historic" can coolers. Additional pints will be available for purchase.
More details:
- We will depart from the grounds of the Weymouth Center at 3pm.
- All participants must be capable of riding a bike and keeping up with a group
- Participants must bring their own bikes and helmets
- This is an aged 21 and over event.
The proceeds from this event go to The Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities and to fund The Pines Preservation Guild’s mission of providing Historic Preservation advocacy and educational support for Moore County residents.
