Spring arrives in the Carolinas on March 19th and the Garden Club of the Sandhills is getting ready for the spring flowering season. The inspiration for this exhibit came from the very popular North Carolina Museum of Art exhibit Art in Bloom which is celebrating its fifth year.

The local "Blooming Art" exhibit is a festival of art and flowers that will feature area floral designers as well as local garden club members. Each will choose a painting object d'art and create a floral arrangement interpreting the art work. Proceeds from the exhibit will benefit local horticultural projects.
