The 9/11 active memorial stair climb is an opportunity for anyone in the community to demonstrate respect and admiration for the 343 courageous members of the FDNY who gave their lives trying to save others on September 11, 2001. We want to bring the community together for a meaningful cause and unite through an active event that honors those we've lost. Grief is tough to go through but finding active causes that make a difference can create new ways to bring support to our community.

Participants will climb step-ups multiple times for a total of 110 stories, 1,980 steps, representing the number of floors in the Twin Towers. This will be available throughout the day, beginning at 0600 and concluding with a closing ceremony at 1800. **NEW THIS YEAR, participants can run/walk from SPCF to SPFD and back (1.4miles) beginning at 0846, 0903, 0937, 0959, 1003, 1028, and 1720. These represent plane impact and building collapse times. This a way to show their loved ones that we will never forget them. And it’s also a way to stand strong for our brave men & women who stand to protect our own communities. It is an amazing opportunity to embrace health & fitness through an active memorial that brings the entire community together to support those lost and those still serving to keep us safe. 

Childcare provided at SPCF for just $5. All proceeds added to the donation. 0800-1100, and 1600-1830. Tickets available here, drop-ins will be accepted.
