"A Climb to Remember"
September 11, 2019
The 9/11 active memorial stair climb is an opportunity for anyone in the community to demonstrate respect and admiration for the 343 courageous members of the FDNY who gave their lives trying to save others on September 11, 2001.
Participants will climb steps for a total of 110 stories, 1,980 steps, representing the number of floors in the Twin Towers. This is just one way to show their loved ones that we will never forget them. It is also a way to stand strong for our brave men and women who stand to protect our own communities.
ALL proceeds will benefit the Moore County Fire Department and Rescue Squads.
YOU CAN PARTICIPATE AT ANYTIME until the closing ceremony at 6pm. You can step solo, or in teams of 2, 3, 4 and MORE.
Patriotic apparel is highly encouraged!
T-Shirts are available for purchase online here and will be available at the event too!
